Welcome to The Independent Broker Network (IBN). As an agent/broker, you will find the most relevant and up-to-date information right here. IBN was created in order to fill a void that has existed for many years in Northern California. Our members are interested in building agency value and security through appointments with the best insurers. Why aren't the phones ringing as much? Is anybody seeing a boost in their business because of the new insurance laws? What companies are my competitors writing? How do I compete with GEICO, Esurance, Progressive Direct and 21st Century? Can I survive in this business just writing auto insurance? Do I need the yellow pages? You have all asked at least a couple of these questions. Where are the answers? This is the essence of our organization because we are producers helping producers and we do have the answers.
IBN is not a traditional agent/broker association, nor do we want to be. It is a cooperative of insurance agents and brokers, insurance companies and general agencies who wish to share their ideas and who want to stay well informed. IBN holds monthly meetings in Milpitas at Giorgio's Italian Restaurant which is located at the 237/680 interchange. Additionally, we host a Producer Appreciation Party at the end of the year for you and your staff to enjoy and there is no cost as this is a member benefit.
Our management team is run by working agents and brokers, who are in the trenches everyday, just like you. Who else can better relate to your needs than a fellow agent who deals with the issues daily. We have no interest in advocacy nor politics because we understand there are plenty of organizations that already do this quite well. Our interest is to give you the information that you need when you open your doors for business each day.
